After shooting waterfalls for an afternoon on the slopes of Cadillac mountain after a hard rain I arrived back at the parking lot at Bubble Pond and decided to go up to the pond for a quick view- Bubble pod I have shot many times but something about it always challenges my sense of compositional balance- to make this shot I changed the foreground by wading out past the first few boulders to find a more balanced arrangement that would properly balance the hills. And it's a triangle which complements the other triangles in the shot and is a most strong visual element to ground the shot-
